The electronic microscope is an essential tool in Sigma Automotive’s laboratory and is extensively used for inspections and quality assurance, especially for part analysis. The analyses conducted by Sigma Automotive personnel are of superior quality due to their precise verification. Inspections performed under a microscope or magnifying glass guarantee high-quality products and high reliability.

The magnifying glass is used by our specialists for inspecting small and medium-sized parts.

Sigma Automotive provides various measuring devices and instruments through its quality controllers, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers. For measuring parts with small tolerances, calipers are used as the primary tool.

Calipers are the most commonly used instrument in workshops and are employed by our controllers for measuring external and internal dimensions as well as depths of parts. Calipers offer greater precision than rulers and tape measures.

Another important, high-precision instrument available at Sigma Automotive is the micrometer. This tool is used for measuring small lengths, in the micrometer range, and operates on the principle of converting the rotational movement of a micrometer screw into linear movement.
